Stretching

Stretching as the first thing to do before working out is considered to be an important part of every training. Unfortunately, sportsmen and sport amateurs start warming up too early sometimes. It leads to the weakening of the muscles as after too early warming up a person has a break usually. As a result, while he/she is sitting on the bench after warming up, his/her muscles are becoming colder and weaker. Active stretching is to be complete right before training. In addition, it is worthy doing it as active as it is possible in spite of the fact that some sportsmen start with light stretching.
Some exercises for the correct stretching include every body part training. It is better to start with leg's stretching. Stand up, kick the right leg with your toes straight to the sky and try to touch the leg with your left hand. And vice versa, repeat this exercise for six-seven times. The same exercise is advised to do stretching on the floor and turning your leg to the opposite arm. In this case, the large group of the muscles works. One more exercise is "Spider-man". It allows stretching the back and shoulder muscles. Stand up; lean forward in order to touch the floor with your fingers. Then you have to walk on your hands trying to keep the legs straight and stable, and then return. Repeat six-seven times. To make it better, you can walk in such position along the gym. It is important for those sportsmen who are involved into the active kinds of sport like tennis, basketball and others, as they require every muscle work for the longer time.
Running and walking are advised too. Anyway, dynamic stretching as warming up is more effective than cold stretching like running or walking.
